This role offers an exciting opportunity to handle a diverse array of litigation cases, providing expert legal counsel in medical malpractice, personal injury and product liability cases. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in procedural law, legal research, and case management, coupled with excellent negotiation and communication skills. As a Litigation Attorney, you will play a pivotal role in representing clients' interests, preparing compelling cases, and delivering impactful courtroom advocacy. Responsibilities Manage all phases of litigation from initial case assessment through trial. Prepare clients for deposition and trial testimony. Prepare complaints, as well as legal memorandum and motions, including substantive motions such as Motions for Summary Judgement and Daubert challenges. Communicate clearly with clients regarding case developments, legal options, and strategic recommendations to foster trust and transparency. Defending and taking depositions, including expert depositions. Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in the state of Florida. At least 5 years proven litigation experience in personal injury, medical malpractice and products liability cases. Strong knowledge of procedural law (including Federal), statutory research methods, and courtroom procedures. Proficiency in legal research tools such as LexisNexis; familiarity with legal writing and drafting is essential. Excellent negotiation skills combined with the ability to advocate effectively in court depositions and hearings.
