Job Description

Large well established law firm based in Florida with offices throughout Florida and the U.S. is looking to add an Associate Attorney to their fast growing Personal Injury Practice. The firm prides itself on knowing every client personally and offering the vast resources of a large law firm but with the customer service and attention of a boutique practice. Candidates for the Personal Injury Associate position must have 2+ years of experience in personal injury litigation. Responsibilities will include, navigating Florida's pre-suit requirements; preparing various types of motions, pleadings, exhibits, and correspondence; responding to Discovery Requests, to include requests for production, requests for admissions, and interrogatories; preparing policyholder's discovery requests; monitoring and obtaining discovery responses from opposing counsel; taking and defending depositions; coordinating with expert witnesses, including general contractors and engineers; and attending mediation. This position is on-site at the firm's Ponte Vedra, Florida office with occasional travel required throughout Florida.
Qualifications:
Must have 2+ years of personal injury litigation experience (plaintiffs or defense) on Florida cases and/or insurance defense litigation Must be an active member in good standing with the Florida Bar Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be deadline and detail oriented Must have the ability to work in a collaborative environment
