In this role, you will play a vital part in managing a wide range of immigration-related cases, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and providing exceptional support to clients navigating complex immigration procedures. Your proactive approach and strong organizational skills will help facilitate smooth case workflows and deliver outstanding legal support. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in immigration law while contributing to impactful client outcomes. Candidates with prior experience are strongly preferred. This is a court heavy position! Responsibilities Represent clients at EOIR hearings. Prepare, review, and file immigration petitions, applications, and related documents with government agencies such as USCIS, ICE, and EOIR. Conduct thorough legal research on immigration laws, policies, and procedural requirements using tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw. Assist clients with interview preparation, document collection, and case status updates to ensure a seamless process. Manage case files efficiently using legal case management systems such as CampLegal, maintaining accurate records of all correspondence and documentation. Strong knowledge of immigration law procedures, policies, and regulations. Experience with legal support functions including document review, legal research, and case management. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously under tight deadlines. Effective communication skills for client interaction and collaboration with team members. Familiarity with civil litigation support and procedural law knowledge relevant to immigration cases. Demonstrated experience in legal drafting, proofreading, and handling confidential information responsibly. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and AdobePro for document creation and data entry. Ability to conduct interviews professionally while demonstrating strong phone etiquette.
