Description We are looking for an Attorney/Lawyer to support probate and trust matters in Glenview, Illinois. This Long-term Contract opportunity is suited for someone with strong attention to detail who can guide uncontested estate-related cases with confidence, maintain clear communication with clients, and help matters progress efficiently through each stage. The role offers a steady stream of legal work focused on administration, court support, and attentive case oversight.

Responsibilities:

• Manage uncontested probate matters from initial review through completion, ensuring each file advances in a timely manner.
• Oversee trust and estate administration activities, including tracking status, preparing for next steps, and maintaining organized case progress.
• Provide court coverage for routine proceedings and appearances as needed.
• Evaluate case developments, identify immediate priorities, and move matters forward based on procedural requirements.
• Communicate with clients regularly to explain status updates, answer questions, and outline upcoming actions.
• Monitor each matter closely to ensure deadlines, filings, and follow-up tasks are addressed appropriately.
• Coordinate legal case progression by maintaining awareness of where each file stands and what is required next. Requirements
• Experience handling probate matters, including uncontested proceedings.
• Background in probate and estate administration.
• Working knowledge of probate law and related court processes.
• Ability to assess case status and determine appropriate next actions.
• Strong client communication skills with the ability to provide clear updates.
• Comfort with basic court coverage and routine legal appearances.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing multiple files.

The pay range for this position is $50 to $60/hr. Benefits available to contract/contract professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
