As a Casualty Attorney, you will have the opportunity to manage complex and challenging litigation matters, represent a diverse range of clients, and play a key role in achieving successful outcomes. From case strategy and motion practice to depositions, mediations, and trial preparation, you will make a meaningful impact while working alongside a team dedicated to excellence and client service.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing a diverse caseload of casualty defense matters, including personal injury, premises of liability, transportation, and general liability claims. Conducting legal research and drafting pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other litigation-related documents. Representing clients at depositions, mediations, hearings, and court proceedings. Developing case strategies, evaluating liability and damages exposure, and providing practical legal counsel to clients. Collaborating with clients, experts, and colleagues to drive successful case outcomes and efficiently resolve claims. Maintaining strong client relationships and staying current on casualty law and litigation practices.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the Louisiana State Bar and in good standing. 4-8 years of experience in casualty litigation, including trial experience. Strong analytical, research, and writing skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
