Independent Contract Position Schedule:
1 Day Per Week (1-2 Hours)
Position Overview:
The Lafourche Parish Juvenile Justice Facility is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Medical Doctor to provide weekly on-site medical services for youth in our group home and detention programs. Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to): Conduct intake and routine physical examinations for youth Review medical charts for regulatory and compliance standards Address minor acute medical concerns Provide medical oversight and recommendations
Qualifications:
Active Louisiana NP or MD license Experience working with adolescents preferred but not required
