Bar Full Job Description Now Hiring:
Immigration Attorney (Full-Time - Marlborough, MA) Celedon Law is currently seeking a full-time Immigration Attorney to join our legal team at our Marlborough, Massachusetts office. This position is ideal for an experienced attorney who is passionate about immigration law and dedicated to defending immigrant rights.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active bar membership in good standing Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in immigration law , with a strong focus on: Develop an expert-level understanding of your client cases. This includes preparing immigrant/non-immigrant petitions with in-depth knowledge of the application process and requirements, specifically in EB1, EB2-NIW, O-1, and RFEs. Removal Defense Employment-based visas Family-based immigration Strong legal research and writing skills, including experience drafting motions and memoranda for EOIR Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and a high caseload Proficiency with digital client management systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to travel to Boston and Hartford Immigration Courts , as well as other Massachusetts courthouses Bilingual in Portuguese or Spanish is a plus!
Responsibilities:
Provide direct legal representation before Immigration Court, BIA, USCIS, and various Massachusetts state and federal courts Prepare and file court pleadings, applications, and supporting documentation Conduct legal research and develop case strategies Interview clients, assess cases, and maintain consistent client communication Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals on case preparation and management
