Scott & Associates, P.C. is a well-established, multi-state legal recoveries law firm seeking a motivated Attorney to join our Crofton, Maryland based team. Manage your caseload and courtroom appearances independently, with the backing of a knowledgeable support team. What You'll Do Negotiate and resolve pending litigation. Prepare, review, and file pleadings, discovery, and motions. Attend hearings and trials within your assigned region (mileage and travel expenses reimbursed). Collaborate with staff and opposing counsel to achieve fair, efficient case resolutions. What We're Looking For Active law license in the listed state of reference. (Maryland) Strong organizational and case management skills. Familiarity with courtroom and civil procedures. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort using technology. Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism in all interactions. Collection or litigation experience preferred — industry training provided for the right candidate. Minimum Qualifications Must be licensed and in good standing to practice law in the State of Maryland . Demonstrated ability to analyze cases and negotiate effective settlements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and client service.
