Job Description Represent claimants in Social Security Disability Insurance and Supplemental Security Income matters. Prepare clients and cases for administrative hearings. Advocate for clients before administrative law judges. Review medical records, disability documentation, and other case evidence. Develop case strategies designed to present strong, well-supported disability claims. Communicate directly with clients throughout the legal process. Work collaboratively with attorneys and legal support professionals to move cases efficiently toward resolution. Help individuals who have been denied benefits navigate the appeals process. Qualifications JD from an accredited law school. Active Maryland or Virginia bar license. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage cases, deadlines, evidence, and client communications. Client-focused approach and genuine interest in advocacy. SSDI, SSI, disability law, administrative hearings, or related litigation experience preferred. Attorneys without direct disability experience may be considered and trained.
