Job Description

Summary This role offers the opportunity to represent clients throughout Maryland and requires an active Maryland Bar license in good standing. We are dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes for our clients and are looking for an attorney with strong courtroom skills, proven litigation experience, and a commitment to client service. You will take ownership of your caseload and lead matters from filing through discovery, hearings, mediations, and trial. Represent clients in personal injury matters from initial litigation through settlement or verdict. Draft and file litigation documents including pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions, and legal memoranda. Conduct and defend depositions. Handle mediations, hearings, and trial proceedings, including jury selection, opening/closing statements, and examinations. Collaborate with paralegals and litigation support staff to ensure thorough case preparation. Requirements Active membership in the Maryland bar, in good standing. Ideally 2+ years of litigation/trial experience in personal injury or related areas, but willing to train those with less experience. Strong negotiation, advocacy, and courtroom skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. in Maryland! Must have an active MD Law License. The compensation for this role includes a base of $75,000 plus a bonus percentage. Trial Lawyers typically average $100,000 – $150,000 in year one.
