Job Description
Civil Litigation Associate | Troy, MI A well-established law firm in Troy, Michigan is seeking a motivated Civil Litigation Associate with 2-5 years of experience to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to take on meaningful responsibility while working on sophisticated litigation matters. What You'll Do Manage civil litigation matters from inception through resolution Handle discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, and trial preparation Assist with developing strategic litigation plans and case strategies Independently manage a significant caseload while working closely with experienced attorneys Represent clients in medical malpractice and complex litigation matters, including federal court cases What We're Looking For 2-5 years of civil litigation experience Experience with medical malpractice defense strongly preferred Federal court and complex litigation experience Demonstrated ability to independently manage a caseload Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills Comfortable working in a billable-hour environment Currently practicing and in good standing with the applicable bar What You'll Get Sophisticated medical malpractice and complex litigation work Opportunity to handle meaningful responsibility and develop litigation strategy Exposure to federal court matters Collaborative and experienced legal team Strong opportunity for professional growth and advancement In-office position in Troy, MI If you're a civil litigator looking for an opportunity to take ownership of cases and work on sophisticated medical malpractice and complex litigation matters, this is an opportunity worth exploring.
