This position is ideal for an attorney who is passionate about advocacy and committed to providing exceptional legal representation. The attorney will manage a diverse and rewarding caseload involving removal defense, asylum, family-based immigration, employment-based immigration, and citizenship. Responsibilities Prepare and litigate removal defense and asylum matters before EOIR and the BIA Prepare, review, and file employment- and family-based immigration petitions and applications Prepare responses to Requests for Evidence, legal briefs, motions, and other submissions to USCIS, DOS, EOIR, and the BIA Conduct client consultations, evaluate immigration options, and provide clear legal advice Research complex immigration issues and develop legal strategies based on current laws, regulations, and agency policies Clearly communicate potential risks, available options, and anticipated outcomes to clients Represent clients at USCIS interviews and in EOIR proceedings Review and analyze client documentation to ensure filing requirements and evidentiary standards are met Collaborate with attorneys, legal assistants, and administrative staff to manage cases, monitor deadlines, and maintain effective client communication Assist with reasonable case-related administrative responsibilities as needed Requirements Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school Active admission and good standing with the bar of any U.S. state or the District of Columbia Minimum of two years of immigration law experience Excellent legal research, writing, communication, and advocacy skills Ability to manage cases independently while working effectively as part of a team Fluency in English Fluency in Spanish, Bengali, Urdu, Punjabi, or another language is preferred Compensation and Benefits $80,000-$110,000 annually, depending on experience Performance-based bonuses, including origination bonuses for attorney-generated business Health insurance Paid holidays and vacation Employer-sponsored retirement plan
