This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney interested in gaining hands-on experience in civil litigation while working alongside experienced litigators in a professional and collaborative environment. Responsibilities Assisting with all phases of civil litigation Conducting legal research and drafting motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence Managing written discovery and document production Preparing for and attending depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials Communicating professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other parties Managing deadlines and maintaining an organized caseload Qualifications Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school Licensed to practice law in Mississippi and in good standing Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines Prior litigation experience is preferred but not required
