Wyrick Robbins is seeking a highly motivated associate with 1-3 years of experience (counting judicial clerkship experience) to join our Commercial Litigation Practice Group in Raleigh, North Carolina. About the Role Our commercial litigation team represents clients in a wide range of complex disputes in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration and other alternative dispute forums. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, business-focused team where associates take on meaningful responsibility early and work directly with clients. Associates in this role will have the opportunity to: Handle a broad range of business-related disputes, including contract, fiduciary, shareholder, and other complex commercial controversies Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs Participate in discovery, including written discovery, document review, and depositions Assist with and participate in hearings, mediations, and trials Work closely with partners and clients to develop case strategy and deliver practical, business-oriented solutions The group has a strong clerkship tradition, with more than half of its associates having served as federal judicial law clerks.
