We are looking for an experienced litigation attorney to join a respected legal practice in New Jersey. This position is suited for an experienced attorney who can independently guide complex matters, advocate effectively in court, and deliver practical counsel tailored to client needs. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, a steady courtroom presence, and a commitment to building trusted client relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Advocate for clients in court proceedings, hearings, and appearances before applicable regulatory or government bodies.
• Prepare, analyze, and refine pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and other legal documents to support active matters.
• Counsel clients on legal strategy, risk exposure, and business-related considerations tied to ongoing disputes and transactions.
• Lead settlement discussions and other resolution efforts aimed at achieving efficient and favorable outcomes.
• Oversee litigation files from initial assessment through resolution, including discovery, motion practice, and case planning.
• Maintain compliance with legal requirements, court rules, and ethical standards throughout all stages of representation.
• Manage practice-related documentation, deadlines, and administrative obligations to ensure matters progress accurately and on time.
• Active bar admission required; admission in New Jersey is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of legal experience, including substantial work in litigation.
• Demonstrated ability to handle civil litigation matters, including drafting motions, briefing, and discovery activities.
• Background in estate planning, probate, real estate, or homeowner association matters is considered an advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking, sound legal judgment, and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
• Experience using Amicus Attorney or similar legal practice management software is a plus.
• Detail-oriented demeanor with a client-centered approach, high integrity, and a collaborative work style.
