Job Description

Litigation Attorney - Real Estate and Commercial The Cash Law Firm Albuquerque, NM Job Details Full-time From $100,000 a year 3 hours ago Qualifications Teamwork Legal discovery Real estate law Legal case management General & commercial litigation Full Job Description About Us We are a small real estate law firm looking to grow our team. We do not operate like a traditional law firm. We believe in collective processes, collaborative strategy, and making a tangible impact through traditional work married with pro bono work. If you are tired of the traditional grind and want to practice law in a firm that values independence, progressive structure, and actual courtroom time, you might be our perfect fit. The Role We are seeking a Civil Litigator with a strong focus on Real Estate, business, and/or corporations. Expect to handle typical discovery and depositions, but be prepared to see the inside of a courtroom—we anticipate you will handle significantly more trial work than the average civil litigator.
What you will do:
Manage a robust real estate litigation caseload from inception through trial. Conduct depositions, manage discovery, and draft substantive motions. Take cases to trial alongside a collaborative, three-attorney team. Engage in meaningful pro bono and low bono advocacy. What you will NOT do : Stress over 1800 or 2000-hour targets (we do not have traditional billable hour requirements). Work for insurance carriers. Deal with personal injury claims. Qualifications We are looking for a litigator who thrives in a collaborative environment but has the initiative to drive cases forward independently.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience required (5+ years is highly preferred).
Skills :
Strong deposition and discovery experience; trial experience is a major plus.
Focus:
Demonstrated interest or background in real estate litigation
Work Style:
Capable of independent, forward momentum while participating in our collective decision-making processes.
Compensation & Culture Salary:
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience, $100k plus
Bonuses :
Real, transparent potential for performance-based bonuses.
Culture:
A genuinely non-traditional structure focused on the work itself, without the crushing pressure of a high billable quota.
Pay:
From $100,000.00 per year
Work Location:
In person
