Job Description Advise clients on ERISA and employee benefits matters, including compliance, counseling, and litigation. Work directly with benefit funds, labor unions, and employee-focused clients. Assist in designing and administering health and retirement benefit plans. Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws governing employee benefit plans. Support labor and employment law matters as part of a diverse legal practice. Conduct legal research and prepare motions, briefs, agreements, and legal opinions. Participate in client meetings, strategy discussions, negotiations, and court proceedings. Collaborate with experienced attorneys while developing increasing responsibility over client matters. Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school. Admitted to the New York Bar. 2+ years of labor, employment law, employee benefits, or ERISA experience. Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple matters while providing outstanding client service. Commitment to employee rights and collaborative client representation is highly valued.
