Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Associate Attorney with 1-4 years of personal injury litigation experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will handle personal injury cases from inception through trial, providing expert legal counsel, conducting research, and managing client relationships. Your expertise will help us secure favorable outcomes for our clients while ensuring compliance with all procedural and legal standards. You will be working directly with the firm's principal, Marc S. Albert, who has been litigating personal injury cases for the entirety of his 30 year career, and who takes great pride in teaching younger attorneys, helping them grow within the practice of law and watching them succeed. Responsibilities Manage personal injury cases, including case evaluation, investigation, and preparation for trial or settlement. Conduct legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies. Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and correspondence. Prepare for and participate in court depositions, negotiations, and trial proceedings. Communicate effectively with clients to keep them informed and engaged throughout the legal process. Collaborate with colleagues on general & commercial litigation, employment law cases, and other related legal matters as needed. Maintain accurate case management records and ensure compliance with procedural law requirements. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Valid license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction. 1-4 years of personal injury litigation experience. Knowledge of procedural law, statutory legal research, and litigation procedures. Excellent research, writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills. Familiarity with legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw. Experience with court depositions, trial preparation, contract drafting, and legal motion preparation. Strong client communication skills with a professional demeanor.
