Job Description

About the Firm We are a small law firm providing sophisticated legal services to individuals, businesses and financial institutions. Our attorneys practice across a variety of legal disciplines and are committed to delivering practical, results-oriented representation while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney who is eager to develop a diverse legal practice and work closely with others on a broad range of matters. Practice Areas The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in multiple practice areas, including: Real estate transactions and litigation Business and corporate law Banking and creditor rights Estate planning and estate administration Landlord/Tenant law Contract drafting and negotiation General business counseling Civil litigation Responsibilities Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda. Attend court appearances and hearings Assist with real estate closings and business transactions. Communicate directly with clients and provide practical legal advice. Work collaboratively with partners and support staff Manage a caseload while meeting deadlines and maintaining excellent client service. Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Admission to practice law in New York (or ability to obtain admission promptly). Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Prior law firm experience is preferred but not required. What We Offer Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Pay:
$79,835.58 - $110,000.00 per year
