Family Partner - $17.25 - $17.50 Job Description The Classroom Family Partner serves as a vital link between families, teachers, and the program to support children's learning and overall family well-being. This position builds positive relationships with families, encourages parent engagement, connects families to community resources, and collaborates with classroom staff to promote school readiness and family success. The Classroom Family Partner helps ensure that families are actively involved in their child's educational experience while supporting program/family goals and compliance requirements. Corning Painted Post School District classrooms will be the main/primary worksite. Ideal skills Experience working with families and youth, and a knowledge of Steuben County community resources is strongly preferred. Strong organizational, computer, communication, and time management skills are also of value. Job Requirement The position requires a degree or credential in social work, human services, family services, counseling, or a related field at hire or within 18 months of hire. A minimum of an associates degree or Family Development Credential is preferred. The ideal candidate must have a drivers license, meeting agency standards and consistent, reliable transportation that will allow regular travel in and around the service area.
