• A Transportation System that Works Together equitable, modern, and accessible The Prosecution Division investigates and prosecutes summonses issued by TLC which consist of administrative, field, and consumer-initiated complaints.

The division prosecutes a wide range of violations including reckless driving, unlicensed operation, illegal street pickups, harassment, and leaving the scene of an accident. Under the leadership of the Managing Attorney for Prosecution, and the direct supervision of the Senior Supervising Attorney, the Supervising Attorney of the Settlements (Settlements) Unit will assist the Senior Supervising Attorney in the daily management of the Settlements Unit and will primarily focus on overseeing the division's processing and issuance of stipulations based upon individual and batch settlement requests, creating and implementing settlements policies and procedures, managing withdrawals and reissues of summonses, generating settlements reports, and creating applicable trainings as needed. Responsibilities will also include but are not limited to: assisting the Managing Attorney and the Senior Supervising Attorneys of the Consumer Complaint, Adjudications and/or Settlements units, and all other sub-units, in the Prosecution Division as needed.

To be assigned to Assignment Level (AL) II, candidates must have one year of experience at Assignment Level I or two years of comparable legal experience subsequent to admission to the bar, in the areas of law related to the assignment. To be assigned to AL III candidates must have two years of experience in Assignment Levels I and/or II or three years of comparable legal experience subsequent to admission to the bar, in the areas of law related to the assignment.
