Job Description
Litigation Associate, Insurance Defense - Islandia, NY/Hybrid - Our client, a growing, boutique firm providing complex, high-exposure property damage and construction-related litigation services, is looking to add a Litigation Associate to their Islandia location. Associates in this role have direct responsibility for case management, handling matters from pre-suit investigation through active litigation, including site inspections, expert coordination, depositions, motion practice, court appearances, and direct client interaction. These cases include large-scale infrastructure and construction-related disputes, as well as complex property damage and subrogation claims. Ideal candidates should have 3+ years' Insurance Defense experience (prosecuting and/or defending civil litigation cases involving construction-related issues and property damages a big plus). Strong writing/communication/courtroom skills, excellent client service skills, and a desire to grow within a reputable firm is also required. The salary range for this opportunity is $130,000 - $160,000 (based on experience) , and includes annual bonus, a comprehensive medical/dental/vision benefits package, 401K with company match, and 3-weeks PTO. #
