Family Law Attorney Sunshine & Feinstein, LLP - 4.0 Woodbury, NY Job Details Full-time $75 - $150 an hour 3 days ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off Referral program Retirement plan Qualifications Legal advocacy Writing skills Legal discovery Legal motion preparation Litigation response management Full Job Description Leading, well-known, and respected law firm located in Woodbury, Long Island, specializing in divorce and family law is seeking a motivated associate with a minimum of 3-6 years of experience to join our team in a full-time or part-time role. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to develop strong litigation skills, gain meaningful courtroom experience, and build a long-term practice in matrimonial law. Must have strong research and writing skills. Responsibilities will include extensive contact with clients, adversaries, and courts; drafting motion papers, pleadings, post-trial memoranda, and stipulations of settlement; preparing discovery demands and responses; advocating at court conferences; negotiating settlements, preparing for trial, and second-seating trials. Deposition and/or trial experience is a plus. The right candidate will be friendly, cooperative, and dedicated.
