The associate will have responsibility for a multitude of pre-hearing tasks and preparation of files for trials, including, but not limited to written discovery preparation and responding, deposition handling and summarizing, preparing reports to clients, investigative tasks such as taking witness statements and preparing affidavits, handling hearings and others. The individual must be licensed to practice in Oklahoma, with 0-5 years of practice experience in Oklahoma, preferably with some workers compensation experience. Must have professional demeanor and work well with others. The individual must be detail oriented and possess excellent communication skills (written and oral). The individual must be comfortable with Microsoft Office programs and handling direct case note entry. Must know how or be able to learn to keep accurate time for file billings. Must have a valid Oklahoma drivers' license, reliable transportation and insurance. Local applicants are preferred. This position will require regular day travel for hearings. We prefer a locally residing applicant. Salary will be based on experience and will include a bonus compensation opportunity.
