We are a privately held investment and management company focused primarily on commercial real estate and commercial real estate lending. Our in-house legal team works closely with senior management and our busiiness and operations teams on a broad range of transactional and corporate matters. We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our Lake Oswego office and work directly with our General Counsel. This position offers substantial hands-on exposure to commercial real estate, lending, corporate matters, and the practical legal issues involved in owning, financing, and managing a nationwide real estate portfolio. Responsibilities Involvement with commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and other transactions Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, leases, purchase and sale agreements, and related documents Reviewing and advising on commercial real estate loan documentation, loan purchases, modifications, workouts, and related matters General corporate and entity matters Hiring and supervising outside attorneys throughout the United States Working direclty with management and operating personnel to identify and resolve legal and business issues Qualifications Prior experience with commercial real estate transactions, lending, contracts, or general corporate matters is helpful, but we are also interested in attorneys with strong foundational legal skills who want to develop broader transactional experience. The successful candidate should have excellent analytical, writing, communication, and organizational skills; sound judgment; attention to detail; and teheha bility to work effectively with both attorneys and business professionals. We value attorneys who are practical, intellectually curious, comfortable taking responsibility, and interested in understanding the business considerations behind legal decisions.
