We are looking for an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to join a respected law firm serving clients in Pennsylvania. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced legal practitioner who is comfortable guiding matters through each stage of the litigation process while producing strong written work and strategic case analysis. The role offers a chance to contribute to a practice focused on litigation, real estate, and community association matters within a collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Direct contested matters from initial filings through resolution, including trial preparation and courtroom advocacy.
- Represent clients at hearings, arbitrations, depositions, and other formal proceedings tied to active disputes.
- Lead discovery efforts by preparing requests and responses, reviewing records, and coordinating evidence development.
- Draft motions, briefs, pleadings, and related legal documents with attention to accuracy, strategy, and persuasive writing.
- Perform legal research to support case strategy, procedural decisions, and written submissions.
- Organize case materials, manage deadlines, and prepare matters thoroughly for negotiation, motion practice, and trial.
- Work closely with colleagues and clients to evaluate claims, develop litigation plans, and advance matters efficiently.
- At least 8 years of experience handling litigation matters in a law firm or comparable legal setting.
- Active attorney licensure and the ability to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction.
- Demonstrated background in civil litigation, including discovery, briefing, and motion practice.
- Experience appearing at hearings, arbitrations, and depositions as part of active case management.
- Strong legal research and writing skills with the ability to prepare clear and effective court filings.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and case priorities.
- Capacity to work independently while also collaborating effectively with legal teams and clients.
- Familiarity with time-based billing practices in a legal environment that requires close attention to detail.
