We are seeking dedicated and skilled Full-Time Associate Attorneys to join our dynamic legal team specializing in Insurance Defense Litigation. This position offers the flexibility of remote work , allowing you to contribute effectively from any location while being part of a collaborative and supportive environment. We actively train and mentor our associates who are encouraged to expand their skill sets from the drafting of pleadings through the second seating at trials. Duties Represent clients in insurance defense litigation cases, ensuring their interests are protected throughout the legal process. Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis to support case strategies. Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs with precision and clarity. Appear for depositions, court conferences, mediations, etc. Engage in negotiations on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes. Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members to develop case strategies and prepare for trials. Manage a diverse caseload. Experience Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to practice law in New York State. Admission in Connecticut and/or New Jersey is a plus. At least 3+ years experience in litigation with a focus on insurance defense preferred. Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent writing abilities for effective legal drafting. Proficient in legal research methodologies and tools such as LexisNexis.
