Build hands-on experience across the full litigation lifecycle, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation. Take on an active caseload while receiving guidance and mentorship from seasoned litigators. Enjoy a hybrid 3 days in office / 2 days remote schedule, subject to client and practice needs. Earn quarterly performance-based bonus opportunities in addition to a competitive compensation package. This is a hybrid opportunity with 3 days per week in the office and 2 days per week remote , subject to client and practice needs. Note Applicants must be licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar. Litigation experience is preferred, with insurance defense, civil litigation, personal injury, construction defect, or employment litigation experience especially valued. Confidential Employer. Job Description Manage assigned civil litigation matters through all stages of the case lifecycle with appropriate supervision. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, and other litigation documents. Conduct legal research and prepare written analysis of substantive and procedural issues. Participate in case strategy, discovery planning, motion practice, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation. Take and defend depositions and participate in court appearances, mediations, and arbitrations as experience permits. Communicate professionally with clients, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, experts, court personnel, and colleagues. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, court rules, ethical obligations, and firm policies. Maintain accurate billable and non-billable time records while meeting annual billable-hour expectations. Collaborate with experienced attorneys and contribute to high-quality client service. Qualifications Juris Doctor from an accredited law school. Active California Bar license in good standing. 1+ year of litigation experience preferred. Insurance defense, civil litigation, personal injury, construction defect, or employment litigation experience is a plus. Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple matters and competing deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-service mindset. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced litigation environment.
