Job Summary The Traffic Defense Firm is seeking an Illinois-licensed attorney to handle traffic and DUI matters throughout DuPage, Cook, Will, and Kane Counties. The attorney will be expected to take primary responsibility for assigned matters, including case strategy, court appearances, negotiations, client communication, deadlines, and case resolution, while exercising independent professional judgment and collaborating with the firm owner when appropriate. The attorney should be comfortable managing an assigned caseload with minimal day-to-day supervision and appearing in court independently. Duties Independently manage assigned traffic and DUI cases from intake through resolution, including case strategy, client communication, negotiations, deadlines, and file management. Appear in court throughout DuPage, Cook, Will, and Kane Counties and handle hearings, conferences, pleas, and other court appearances as required. Communicate with clients regarding case status, court outcomes, and next steps, while maintaining timely and professional case updates. Experience Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission in the Illinois. 1-3 years of legal experience preferred. Prior experience handling Illinois traffic and/or DUI matters is strongly preferred.

Pay:

$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
