Are you an experienced immigration attorney passionate about helping individuals navigate U.S. immigration law? Carlos E. Sandoval, P.A. is looking for a dynamic Associate Immigration Attorney to join our dedicated team in Hollywood, FL. This is a role for an attorney who wants to own a caseload, guide a team, and help shape how the legal department works. About the

The Role:
The Associate Immigration Attorney independently manages immigration cases from consultation to resolution, including administrative hearings (EOIR, USCIS) and federal litigation. Beyond your own caseload, you guide and organize the paralegals and assistants supporting your cases, setting clear priorities, maintaining quality standards, and keeping work accurate and on time. This role suits an attorney who is both a strong advocate and a dependable organizer of people and process.
Responsibilities:
Conduct client consultations and manage an immigration case workload Represent clients at
USCIS, EOIR
procedures, hearings, and in federal courts, including BIA appeals Prepare and submit immigration filings (visas, naturalization, asylum, work permits, removal defense, and appeals) Supervise paralegals, legal assistants, and case managers, and review their work before submission Assign and balance case workload through DocketWise, keeping the team organized and on schedule Set priorities and quality standards for your cases, and coach team members to meet them Conduct detailed legal research and draft compelling arguments Provide clear, frequent, and supportive client communications Stay current on immigration law developments and educate clients accordingly
Skills:
Fluent bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) Proficient with DocketWise, Microsoft Office, FastCase, and Lexis Exceptional advocacy, negotiation, and courtroom skills Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and a client-centered approach Strong organizational skills and a leadership mindset, able to guide a small team and keep cases moving Comfortable setting priorities, holding standards, and bringing the best out of the people around you
Education and Experience:
J.D. degree Admission to any U.S. State Bar in good standing, with federal authorization (Florida bar a plus) 5+ years of immigration law experience Immigration court litigation experience (EOIR, USCIS, federal court) Nice to
