Description Our client is seeking a Contract Attorney to support a busy Toxic Tort Litigation practice on a fully remote basis. This opportunity is available on either a full-time or part-time schedule and is expected to last 3-6 months, with an immediate start date. The ideal candidate will have strong legal research and writing skills and be comfortable handling substantive motion practice in a fast-paced litigation environment. There is no shortage of work, and they are ready for someone to come in and help support! Responsibilities + Draft and revise Motions for Summary Judgment, oppositions, and related briefing. + Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on substantive and procedural issues. + Analyze case records, discovery, deposition transcripts, and expert materials to support motion practice. + Collaborate with attorneys on toxic tort and other complex litigation matters. + Assist with additional litigation-related writing projects as needed. Requirements Qualifications + Active attorney license in good standing. + 1+ years of litigation experience required. + Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills. + Experience drafting motions, oppositions, and legal memoranda. + Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines in a remote environment. Preferred Qualifications + 2+ years of litigation experience. + Toxic tort experience. + Experience with complex civil litigation and substantive motion practice.
