Remote Litigation Associate Attorney A national law firm with a well-established insurance and commercial litigation practice is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its growing team. This is a fully remote opportunity offering sophisticated litigation work, direct mentorship from firm leadership, and a clear path for long-term advancement. About the Opportunity This role offers the chance to work closely with a senior partner on complex insurance coverage and litigation matters while enjoying the flexibility of a fully remote environment. Responsibilities Analyze insurance policies, claims materials, and related records to evaluate coverage issues and advise clients regarding risk and exposure. Investigate factual and legal issues associated with coverage disputes and litigation matters. Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, pleadings, and other litigation filings. Manage all phases of discovery, including written discovery and document review. Take and defend depositions and participate in mediations, hearings, and court appearances. Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and internal legal teams. Assist with developing and executing case strategy through resolution. Why Join? Minimum 2 years of litigation experience. Experience handling discovery and drafting substantive motions. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Ability to manage cases with increasing autonomy. Preferred Qualifications Experience with insurance coverage, property coverage, or related insurance litigation matters.
