This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead complex litigation cases, craft compelling appellate briefs, and provide strategic legal counsel across a broad spectrum of practice areas. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for advocacy, exceptional research and writing skills, and a comprehensive understanding of procedural law. You will play a pivotal role in representing clients' interests in court, negotiating favorable outcomes, and ensuring meticulous case management throughout the litigation process. Duties Manage and litigate civil cases across general and commercial litigation, personal injury law, employment law, and other practice areas. Prepare and file legal motions, pleadings, and briefs with precision and clarity to support case strategies. Conduct thorough legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw to inform case development and stay current on statutory and procedural law updates. Draft contracts, settlement agreements, discovery requests, depositions, and appellate briefs that meet high standards of legal writing. Represent clients in court depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial proceedings with vigorous advocacy. Develop case strategies through detailed trial preparation, evidence review, and expert consultation. Negotiate settlements effectively while maintaining client interests and fostering positive client communication. Maintain organized case files using legal case management systems to ensure timely progression of each matter. Stay informed on evolving laws in estate planning, environmental law, tribal regulations, securities law, patent law, workers' compensation law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, employment law, and statutory legal research. Skills Extensive experience in general & commercial litigation with a strong foundation in procedural law knowledge. Proven ability to handle personal injury cases from inception through trial or settlement negotiations. Exceptional legal research skills utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms. Skilled in legal drafting including contracts, motions, pleadings, discovery documents, and appellate briefs. Strong negotiation skills to achieve favorable client outcomes while managing complex disputes. Experience with court depositions and trial preparation with a focus on effective advocacy. Knowledge of diverse practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, tribal regulations, securities law, patent law, employment law cases including workers' compensation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear client counsel and courtroom advocacy. Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently within a fast-paced environment using legal case management tools.
