Confidential Employer. Job Description Manage a varied caseload of civil litigation matters from initial evaluation through resolution. Develop case strategies, conduct legal research, draft pleadings and motions, and prepare for hearings and other proceedings. Communicate directly with clients to understand their objectives and provide practical legal guidance. Handle discovery, depositions, negotiations, court appearances, and other litigation responsibilities. Analyze contracts, business disputes, real estate issues, and other matters that may intersect with civil litigation. Collaborate with colleagues while taking appropriate ownership of assigned matters and deadlines. Maintain organized case files, meet procedural deadlines, and consistently deliver responsive client service. Contribute to a collegial private-practice environment where attorneys are expected to exercise sound judgment and initiative. Qualifications Active Kansas Bar license in good standing. Civil litigation experience strongly preferred. Strong legal research, writing, analytical, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills. Ability to independently manage assignments, prioritize competing deadlines, and follow matters through to completion. Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated commitment to the demands and pace of private practice. Candidates from law firm, in-house, or solo practice backgrounds are welcome. Strong judgment, professionalism, attention to detail, and accountability. Location :
