In this role, you will provide expert legal counsel and representation in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, visitation, and support cases. Responsibilities Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, child custody, visitation, and support disputes in Cuyahoga, Lorain and Medina county with local courts. Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and court orders Prepare for trial by organizing evidence, developing case theories, and participating in court depositions Negotiate settlements that align with clients' best interests while maintaining professional integrity Communicate effectively with clients to explain legal options, progress updates, and procedural requirements Stay informed about relevant statutes, procedural laws, and recent case law affecting family law practice Requirements Extensive knowledge of family law procedures and statutory regulations Knowledge of court timelines, deadlines, and ability to handle a caseload of up to 40 cases at a time Ability to work in a team environment with paralegals and other attorneys Experience in a law firm setting

Pay:

$130,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
