Foreclosure Specialist Department:
Foreclosure Status:
Full-Time / Exempt This position directly manages the foreclosure process for a portfolio of residential non-performing loans. This role is the primary point of contact with the foreclosure attorney and is responsible for making sure the foreclosure is proceeding and hitting all milestones timely.This person will:
Collaborate with attorneys, servicers, and other parties to ensure each foreclosure case is managed effectively. Interface and coordinate with other departments, including Capital Markets, REO, Bankruptcy, Accounting, Collateral, and the 3rd party servicer Evaluate and approve foreclosure figures, including judgment amounts, bidding instructions, reinstatement quotes, and payoff calculations Responsible for informing supervisor of foreclosure timeline delays and title issues Assist in resolution of litigation matters and attorney inquiries Record pertinent information and milestone data in applicable software to maintain accurate and current records Keep up to date with all changes in foreclosure legislation and regulations Ensure compliance with all foreclosure-related regulations and procedures Identify opportunities to improve foreclosure processes and procedures Requirements- 4+ years of relevant work experience with direct foreclosure experience
- College degree preferred
- Highly proficient with data entry, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized and meticulously detail oriented; ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to organize and manage many loans simultaneously

This person will be employed by the servicer in Orange County, but work on a team dedicated to the AMIP portfolio.Key words:
