Job Description

Franchise, Corporate & Commercial Litigation Attorney We are a nationally recognized boutique law firm focused on franchise, business, and commercial matters. We are seeking an Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join our practice. This role offers exposure to both sophisticated transactional work and commercial litigation for established brands, emerging companies, and multi-unit operators. Responsibilities Draft and negotiate franchise agreements and related commercial agreements Prepare, review, and update Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDDs) Advise franchisors, franchisees, and multi-unit operators on franchise and business matters Assist with corporate transactions, M&A matters, business structuring, and general corporate work Handle commercial litigation and arbitration matters Assist clients with pre-litigation disputes, negotiations, and dispute resolution Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, correspondence, and other substantive legal documents Work directly with clients on both transactional and litigation matters Qualifications 3-5 years of attorney experience Litigation and/or transactional experience; a combination of both is strongly preferred Strong legal research, writing, and drafting skills Experience with commercial litigation, corporate transactions, M&A, franchise law, or general business law is highly desirable Ability to manage matters independently while working collaboratively with other attorneys Strong interest in working with franchise systems, multi-unit operators, established brands, and growth-stage businesses Active and in-good-standing state bar admission
Compensation & Work Environment Base Salary:
$140,000-$170,000, depending on experience 1,700 annual billable-hour requirement Hybrid or fully remote work options Opportunity to develop experience across both the transactional and litigation sides of a sophisticated national franchise and business practice
