Based in Franklin, TN, the firm prides itself on its dedication to excellence and strong ethical standards. Role Description This is a contract position for a Litigation Attorney. The role is primarily in office, in Cool Springs, with the flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The attorney will be responsible for all aspects of complex commercial litigation, including: drafting & reviewing discovery, drafting court motions and memoranda, 2nd chair trial work or 1st chair depending upon experience. The position requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent legal research and writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases independently. Ideal candidate has 5-7 years complex commercial litigation experience but would rather have some balance in their life. I appreciate what search firms do, but I will not be paying anyone for a candidate for this job. Qualifications Strong expertise in Law with the ability to understand and apply legal principles effectively Experience with preparing and responding to Motions and engaging in procedural matters Proven ability to navigate the nuances of Courts and litigation processes Skilled in self direction, self regulation and high emotional iq. Proficiency in Depositions, including preparing witnesses and examining opposing parties Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills Licensed to practice law in Tennessee or eligible for admission Experience in civil litigation with a focus on commercial matters and/or construction.
