An boutique law firm is seeking an Associate Litigation Attorney with civil litigation experience to join its growing team. The attorney will have the opportunity to work on a variety of matters and gain hands-on experience across all aspects of litigation.

Responsibilities:

Handle a variety of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.

Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.

Participate in discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.

Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and colleagues.

Manage case files and assist with all aspects of litigation strategy and preparation.

Contribute to a collaborative and professional work environment.

Qualifications:

Good academic credentials.2+ years of experience in civil litigation.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.

Good references from staff and attorneys with whom you have worked.

Active license to practice law in South Carolina.

Completed Rule 403 trial experience requirements.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
