IMMEDIATE OPENING
We are a high-volume, regional bankruptcy firm seeking an ambitious and hardworking individual to fill a full-time Consumer Bankruptcy Attorney position in our Chattanooga, TN location. Immediate hire for the right person.
Responsibilities:
Court appearances on behalf of the clients in person and by zoom. Working with Regional Management to ensure smooth day to day operations and firm growth; Reviewing cases for accuracy and legal viability; Resolving inquires for clients originated by the U.S. Trustee; Communicating with courts, trustees, opposing counsel and other local law firms in order to represent the client well; Researching and drafting pleadings when necessary; Meeting with clients and counseling them about their financial alternatives; Performing other related duties as assigned. ​
Qualifications:
Licensed attorney; Bilingual a PLUS but not required; Prior bankruptcy experience not required; we will train; Eligible for admission to the Eastern District of Tennessee.
