Contracts Bar Full Job Description Overview:
Bridge City Title is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Attorney to join our new title company opportunity in Tennessee and North Georgia. We are looking to grow our team with a team oriented, personable individual with a high level of knowledge in real estate title related processes and procedures.Responsibilities:
- Review, examine, analyze, and underwrite title search and search results, surveys, legal descriptions, contracts, and other related title documentation
- Oversee and actively participate in the process of title commitments that fully and accurately sets out the requirements and exceptions for the issuance of the final title policy
- Draft and oversee preparation of legal documents for purchase, sale, and refinance of real property and present other evidence to meet legal requirement of documents
- Conduct the closing with buyers and sellers
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact real estate title documentation and preparation
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of preparing closing documents, balancing and disbursing funds, and post-closing procedures
- Ability to draft and explain real estate related documents
- Exceptional legal drafting skills to prepare accurate and persuasive legal documents
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective client communication
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Qualifications:
- Current license to practice law in the state of Tennessee and/or Georgia We offer competitive compensation packages based on experience.
