Job Description

We are looking for an Attorney Recruiter to support legal talent acquisition for a Contract opportunity based in Arlington, Virginia. This position is ideal for someone who understands the legal profession and can effectively identify, assess, and engage attorney candidates for communications-related hiring needs. The successful candidate will build strong candidate pipelines, guide recruitment efforts from sourcing through selection, and partner closely with hiring stakeholders to deliver a detail-oriented and efficient hiring experience. Responsibilities:
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for attorney positions, from initial sourcing and outreach through interview coordination and offer support.
  • Identify and engage legal talent with experience in civil litigation and related practice areas.
  • Review candidate backgrounds to evaluate legal credentials, bar admission status, and alignment with role requirements.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define search priorities, refine candidate profiles, and maintain momentum throughout the hiring process.
  • Develop targeted sourcing strategies to attract attorneys with experience in drafting motions, briefing, and discovery.
  • Conduct candidate screening conversations to assess legal experience, communication skills, and overall fit for open positions.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records, track candidate activity, and provide regular updates on pipeline progress and hiring challenges.
