At Impact Title, we're looking for a Real Estate Attorney who can bring sound legal judgment, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit to our team. This role is less about where you are in your career and more about what you bring to the table and how you bring it. You may be an attorney early in your career who is eager to gain meaningful real estate experience. You may have years of experience and be looking for an opportunity to invest your knowledge into others. Or, you may be an experienced professional looking for a more flexible schedule while continuing to do work that matters. We're open to what that looks like for the right person. The Impact You'll Have As our Real Estate Attorney, you'll help Impact Title navigate the legal complexities of the title and real estate industry with confidence. You'll serve as a trusted legal resource for the organization—helping us remain compliant, think through risk, solve problems, and make informed decisions. Just as importantly, you'll have the opportunity to build knowledge across the team by explaining the "why" behind legal guidance rather than simply providing an answer. Your expertise will help us protect the organization while continuing to serve our customers and communities with excellence. What You'll Do While the full scope of this role is still being developed, key areas of impact may include: Provide legal guidance related to real estate, title, contracts, and business operations Help ensure Impact Title remains legally compliant within the title and real estate industry Review documents, agreements, processes, and situations requiring legal expertise Identify potential legal risks and help leaders understand practical solutions Research legal questions and evolving industry requirements Communicate complex legal information in a way that is clear and actionable Partner with leaders and team members to solve problems with wisdom and sound judgment Share legal and industry knowledge to help develop others and strengthen the organization Help create or improve processes that support consistency, compliance, and operational excellence Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who combines strong legal knowledge with curiosity, humility, and a desire to contribute. You'll likely thrive in this role if you are: Detailed and thorough
- You recognize that small details can carry significant legal implications and take ownership of getting them right. A clear communicator
- You can translate complicated legal concepts into practical guidance others can understand and use. Curious
- You ask questions, research thoroughly, and are willing to explore a better way rather than defaulting to "this is how it has always been done." Collaborative
- You enjoy partnering with others and see legal expertise as a resource to equip the team, not information to hold onto. A knowledge-sharer
- You willingly teach, explain, and invest what you know into others. Adaptable
- You can bring your expertise to the table while remaining open to learning, feedback, and new perspectives. Dependable
- People can trust your judgment, follow-through, discretion, and work ethic.
