Cludius Law is seeking a passionate, client-centered attorney, who is eager to work directly with clients to provide a superior personalized product. We believe in working relationally, not transactionally, with our clients. The attorney hired will be handling non-contested probate as well as counseling estate planning clients on the choices of estate planning strategies for their particular goals, assets and family dynamics. The position is full-time and on-site in New Braunfels, TX. The right candidate will have creative problem-solving skills, a high attention to detail, and be willing to have honest conversations with clients.

The owner and founder of our firm, Fred Cludius, experienced firsthand what happens when there is no planning. Our office is located in New Braunfels, Texas. We are open typical business hours, and you will be expected to work the bulk of your hours within that time frame, plus up to two evenings a month.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting in-person and virtual meetings with clients. Consult and design customized Estate Planning solutions. Resolve Probate matters and attend hearings in surrounding counties. Estate administration and Trust management. Draft and review wills, trusts, and estate plans using state of the art drafting software. Attend events to promote our firm within the community. Work as a team with founding attorney and support staff. Excellent time management and problem solving skills. Ability to have honest and direct conversations with professionalism and empathy. Conduct legal research. No cutting corners. Ensure legal compliance, transparency and highest ethical standards. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school An active license with the State Bar of Texas Prior experience with estate planning or similar client-centered field is preferred but not required. We are willing to take the time to train and mentor the right candidate.
