Our experienced processing and closing team handles the file work, so our attorneys can focus on practicing law. We're growing and looking for an experienced Transactional Attorney to join our team. What you'll do Conduct residential and commercial real estate closings, including purchases, sales, refinances, equity lines, and term loans Review and approve closing packages, settlement statements, and title work prepared by our processing team Advise clients on legal issues that arise during transactions and help resolve complex title matters Draft and negotiate contracts, deeds, and other transactional documents Assist with corporate matters, including business asset purchases and sales and stock transfers Support our growing estate planning practice, including wills and trusts Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, agents, lenders, and title underwriters What we're looking for Active Virginia bar license in good standing (required) North Carolina bar admission (a plus) 3+ years of transactional experience in commercial and residential real estate Estate planning experience (a plus) Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills Ability to handle a high volume of closings in a fast-paced environment A grateful attitude and appreciation for the opportunity to live and work in this amazing country What we offer Competitive salary with bonus opportunities Health, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) Paid time off A supportive, service-driven team at an established Hampton Roads firm How to apply Send your resume to with "Transactional Attorney" in the subject line.
