We are looking for an experienced Attorney/Lawyer to support a busy legal team in Madison, Wisconsin within the IT Software industry. This is a Contract position focused on managing a steady volume of commercial legal work, with particular emphasis on software and service-related agreements. The person in this role will provide practical, timely guidance while helping move contract matters forward efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Review, draft, and revise a range of commercial agreements with an emphasis on SaaS and technology-related contracts.
• Lead contract redlining and negotiate legal terms with customers, vendors, and business partners to support favorable outcomes.
• Evaluate and update statements of work and related documents to ensure alignment with business needs and legal standards.
• Provide day-to-day legal support for ongoing contract matters and help maintain momentum during periods of limited team capacity.
• Identify contractual, compliance, and data privacy considerations and recommend clear, practical solutions.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to clarify legal language, resolve issues, and accelerate agreement execution.
