$28.88•39.11 per hour, based on experience and assigned level (LSS I-III) Join One of the Nation's Leading Law Firms Our company is seeking an experienced Legal Support Specialist (LSS) to join our Orlando office. This position provides comprehensive legal and administrative support to attorneys in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. We are looking for highly organized professionals who thrive on delivering exceptional client service, managing multiple priorities, and producing accurate, high-quality work. Candidates will be considered for LSS I, II, or III based on their experience, technical skills, and overall qualifications. What You'll Do Provide high-level administrative and legal support to attorneys and practice groups. Prepare, edit, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, agreements, pleadings, and presentations. Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, conference calls, depositions, hearings, travel, and client appointments. Coordinate and prepare state and federal court filings, including electronic filing (e-filing), when applicable. Organize and maintain electronic and physical client files and legal records. Assist with document revisions, redlining, formatting, and version control. Prepare attorney time entries, expense reports, billing requests, and client matter documentation. Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, vendors, and internal departments while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. Prioritize multiple assignments while consistently meeting deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment. Support special projects and additional administrative responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience as a Legal Support Specialist, Legal Assistant, or Legal Secretary in a law firm or professional legal environment. Strong knowledge of legal terminology, legal documents, and law office procedures. Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience formatting complex legal documents with exceptional accuracy. Strong proofreading, grammar, and written communication skills. Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities. Ability to maintain confidentiality while exercising sound professional judgment. Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to providing outstanding client service. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting attorneys in litigation, corporate, real estate, finance, labor & employment, tax, or other legal practice areas. Experience with document management systems and legal billing software. Knowledge of state and federal court filing procedures. Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, or Paralegal Certificate is a plus. Compensation Candidates will be hired into one of the following Legal Support Specialist levels based on qualifications and experience:
LSS I:
$28.88•36.72 per hour
LSS II:
$31.35•37.22 per hour
LSS III:
