Job Description
The Division of Real Estate & Professional Licensing helps ensure Ohioans' investment in their largest asset - their homes - is a sound one. This includes licensing, educating, and enforcing Ohio laws for real estate brokers, salespersons, real estate appraisers, home inspectors and foreign real estate dealers and salespersons. The division also registers cemeteries and real estate developments located in other states that are marketed in Ohio. REPL also has responsibilities under the Manufactured Homes Program and is responsible for licensing and inspecting brokers/dealers and salespersons. The Video Service Authorization Section provides complaint services, education and outreach to cable consumers, local governments, and cable providers. The Division of Real Estate & Professional Licensing (REPL) is seeking candidates to fill an intermittent Administrative Professional 1 (AP 1) role on the Legal team. The AP 1 - intermittent will provide administrative support to the Legal & Enforcement teams and will perform the following duties which include, but are not limited to: Open, sort, and assist in distributing incoming mail Stamp, organize, and print documents Assemble certified mail green cards and mail sheets Accurately and timely log incoming complaint information and assemble new case file folders Assist in organizing and filing records for legal/enforcement filing system Provide support for legal/enforcement teams Please note: an intermittent employee at the state of Ohio can work up to 1,000 hours per fiscal year (July 1 - June 30.) Intermittent employees are paid at Step 1 of their assigned classification and are not eligible for step advancement per ORC 124.15 or benefits.
