$65,000 - $80,000 / year Description The Administrative Support Specialist will provide administrative and mission support activities necessary to support executive support functions, operational coordination, workforce support, records coordination, and mission operations. The successful candidate will serve as a key contributor to organizational effectiveness by helping ensure efficient day-to-day operations and effective support of Government mission objectives. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive administrative support to Government leadership, program staff, and stakeholders to ensure efficient daily operations and mission execution. Coordinate administrative actions, schedules, correspondence, reports, and internal communications across multiple functional areas. Support executive operations by preparing materials, organizing meetings, tracking action items, and facilitating timely follow-up on priorities. Assist with workforce support activities, including personnel coordination, onboarding support, status tracking, and administrative processes. Maintain, organize, and coordinate records in accordance with established policies, procedures, and records management requirements. Compile, review, and distribute reports, briefing materials, presentations, and other administrative deliverables. Coordinate activities among internal and external stakeholders to support operational continuity and organizational objectives. Track assignments, deliverables, and deadlines to ensure timely completion of mission-critical tasks and administrative actions. Identify administrative efficiencies and recommend improvements that enhance operational effectiveness and customer service. Perform other mission support duties as assigned in support of Government operations. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of two (2) years of relevant administrative, operational, or program support experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience providing administrative support in a professional office, program office, Government, or corporate environment. Experience coordinating schedules, correspondence, meetings, reports, or other administrative functions. Experience maintaining records, files, and documentation in accordance with established procedures. Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite and common business applications. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail. Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and prioritize competing requirements. Ability to successfully complete any background investigation or credentialing requirements associated with the position. Strong knowledge of administrative operations, office management practices, and organizational procedures. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Exceptional organizational, planning, and time-management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff at all organizational levels. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams. Ability to analyze information, solve problems, and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment. Experience coordinating executive support functions, administrative workflows, and operational activities. Knowledge of records management principles and document control processes. Strong customer service orientation and ability to establish effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively within a team environment. Demonstrated discretion in handling sensitive information and administrative matters.

Background Investigation:

This position requires that you obtain a background investigation. As part of this process, the government will perform a criminal, credit, tax, employment, and drug history background check. The government has varying tolerances, with mitigating circumstances, for issues in all of the categories. The government is essentially looking to confirm that you are generally in good financial standing, up to date on your tax filings, rehire eligible with your prior employers, and have adhered to any federal restrictions on illegal drug use, including marijuana, in addition to other checks related on your character and trust worthiness.
