Your role in our mission Professionally handle incoming and outgoing calls with attorneys, court staff, clients, recipients, and family members. Manage and maintain a variety of cases with accurate and up-to-date notes from creation to recovery. Research and verify third-party liability, probate, and beneficiary assets. Prepare and submit correspondence, liens, claims, and other legal documents. Negotiate and settle claim or lien amounts in accordance with contract guidelines. Resolve claim disputes and collaborate with attorneys and stakeholders to ensure timely progress. Conduct follow-ups on case status and payment updates. Analyze case information from multiple sources to draw informed conclusions. Prioritize critical events and ensure all internal and legal deadlines are met. What we're looking for High School Diploma or GED required; Paralegal certificate/degree, or equivalent relevant work experience required. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in legal support, case management, healthcare claims, customer service, Medicaid support, or a related field required. Experience as a legal assistant, caseworker, paralegal, claims specialist, or administrative support professional preferred. Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, healthcare claims, legal documentation, or case processing preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel required, with strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills. What you should expect in this role Employees are expected to work onsite full-time. The role includes a mandatory two-month onsite training period. The work and training schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Employees may become eligible for a hybrid work schedule after successfully completing training and consistently meeting performance expectations. Hybrid work arrangements are based on business needs and manager approval and are not guaranteed. Video participation is required for all interviews and during the first week of orientation.
